the butt end of people's bitterness

why is it that some people who can't handle their insecurities have to find someone or something that they could project all their bitterness on. You are not that intellectually gifted, then let all your hang-ups out by projecting all your shortcomings on your know-it-all arrogant officemate. Getting less attention than before, then spew out all your hate on that prick who seems to be getting all the attention.

ah, people more often than not are very petty indeed.The sad part of it is when the petty individual is someone you have known years back, and is in fact someone you consider as a friend. Sometimes i think that it would have been much better if one just keeps his / her mouth shut and stayed in the sidelines.
